New Cub Year

Remember it is Investiture Night tomorrow, so remember to wear your uniforms, be on time and generally look spiffy. Parents are more than welcome to sit in and bring cameras to the meeting.

OOPS it been waaay to long since we updated the blog.

For those attending area camp this weekend (June 19-21) you will want to be at the church at 545 on Friday the 19th this will allow you time to find your bus assigment and load your gear on the truck. Please make sure to label your gear & your bag. Make sure to have your dinner before you arrive. The buses will be leaving as soon as possible if you miss the bus you will be required to make your own way to camp. We expect to be back to the church by 130 on Sunday June 21st

For those not attending area camp we wish you a great summer and look forward to seeing you on Sept 10 2009

A quick reminder to our Victoria cubs today is the day. You will want to be at Willingdon Church by 525 this afternoon. See you all there 

  

Upcoming events

 As you all are aware the pack will be traveling to Victoria on march 20th to 22th registrations are now closed.  A reminder that we will be meeting at Willingdon church 4812 Willingdon avenue at 515pm march 20. Please keep in mind that the majority of time at camp will be in uniform. Due to space constrains  you will be required to pack light for this trip. Make sure bring your swimming gear. 

  Thursday march 12 we will be holding our local race for 12th cubs only we will also be having a      'tune up' clinic to help make sure your car is ready for the regional race.

  

  On Saturday march 14 we will be having the Vancouver east kub car rally at the church.

Victoria

During the last weekend of Spring Break the Pack is taking a bus trip to BC's capital city, Victoria.

We will meet at Willingdon church 5:20 pm friday March 20th and leave the lot at 5:45 pm to catch the ferry to Swartz Bay. You will need to be at the church early so we can leave on time (the bus will leave without you if you are late and you will have to try to meet up with us at the Tsawwassen ferry terminal).

After exploring the Greater Victoria area Saturday & Sunday we will return back to the church by 7:00 pm Sunday.

The Cub Pack makes this trip once every 3 years . We last made this trip together in March 2006 and had a great time. The pic below give you some ideas of the places we will be traveling

I am pleased to announce our Victoria trip we will be departing on Fri march 20 from Willingdon church. 4812 Willingdon avenue Burnaby. We will be traveling with  4th south west  cub pack of burnaby.  Transport to Victoria will be by charter bus. We will be staying in the Nazarene church in Victoria. This trip will include various venues in the city such as the provincial  museum.  We intent to do this trip once every three years.
